Danny rolled his eyes at her comments but he couldn’t help but laugh. “Has someone been taking cockiness lessons from me? For the record though, and I really hate to say this, you’re not the most adorable person I know. Little Demanion is the cutest thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on, he sort of beats your adorable factor!”
Danny was more than content just talking to his best friend on the phone. In fact, it made him more than happy. But, he was excited about getting to see her. It’d been a while since they’d done anything together and he always enjoyed her company. “Great! I’m going to advise you to wear something, I don’t know, classy? Dress up for the occasion! I just need to get ready myself and I’ll be on my way. Need to make sure my hair is perfect!”
“You’re so lucky I’m not over there right now. You’d be a dead man by now, Daniel,” She said jokingly like a two year old. “Mm… nope. I think you’ve taken them from me. Isn’t it obvious?” She bragged with a grin before blowing a raspberry into the phone. Amy let out a small, dramatic gasp as she replied, “Y’know, the mothering side of me is saying, ‘Oh! Thank you!’ But the really bitchy side of me is saying, ‘Excuse me? Do you know who I am?”
Amy couldn’t wait to see her best friend again. Though talking on the phone was fun, it wasn’t as intimate social and interactive as it was being in person. “Oi! I always get dressed classy! It’s my motto! Always classy, never trashy.” She raised an eyebrow at his comment over the phone. “i’m sorry. Do you remember when you said we were leaving at four and we ended up leaving at five thirty? Yeah. Basically all on my hair.”
